Meet our great team

The Ayur yoga Academy has a fantastic team with experienced and inspiring teachers. We are all rooted in a holistic mindset where body, mind, emotion, energy and soul are deeply connected. Every teacher contributes to our courses in a unique way. As a team, we are well known for our ability to create a safe, allowing space where everybody is seen.

Wivi-Anne Nyberg

Wivi-Annes passion for yoga started 20 years ago. For a long time, she had suffered from pain, mainly related to stress. When entering the world of yoga, she was amazed by the enormous impact it had on her inner life. She became more authentic and started to live a more fulfilled life.

After many years of studying and teaching hatha and anusara yoga, Wivi-Anne added to her palette the inspiring knowledge of yin yoga.

Wivi-Anne also has education in ayurveda and EQ (emotional intelligence). These educations made her even more fascinated by the magic possibilities we all have within us, and she entered a new path to fully embrace all aspects of the human being.

She has over the years developed unique ways that have helped many hundreds of people to create their best base for health, and well-being and a starting point in exploring who they really are.

All this knowledge and experience is the foundation on which she has built Ayur Yoga Academy.

Alexandra has for the last 15 years had a great passion for health, well-being and the human body. She has worked as a yoga teacher since 2015 with her Ayur Yoga and yin yoga educations as a basis. Expanding her palette with assisting on Ayur Yoga YTT and Ayur Yin YTT, she joined the teaching team 2017. Alexandra has the main responsibility for the blocks related to pranayamas and meditation.

Her fascination for what we actually are able to do with our bodies, made her study for different teachers in the more advanced techniques. Her joyful and stable way of teaching with an inspiring simplicity in her approach, has been very appreciated during the years.

Alexandra Maliganis

Paskalina has a great passion for the depth of yoga. In 2015 she took her YTT in Ayur Yoga, where her interest for the physical body, movement and the power of yang sparked. A few years later, a love for the softer part, with high awareness and relaxation emerged through Ayur Yin. Her aim is to bring a fine balance between the two different aspects in her teaching.

For some years now, Paskalina has turned more towards ayurveda and the tantric tradition of yoga. She is specialized in vinyasa and the energetic body and our chakra system. Her focus is to create balance and wellbeing by starting from the self and affirming all aspects of life where body, mind, emotions and energy always are connected.
